Who are we?
That’s me in the middle! I’m Miles Jordan. I grew up in Charlotte and founded Junkit in 2021 with a simple goal—to work hard and serve our community.
We quickly realized we could make a greater impact not only in our community, but also on the environment. By sorting through what we remove, we’re able to reuse, repurpose, and donate items to local charities. We’ve taken the time to learn proper disposal methods and obtain all disposal permits to ensure everything else is handled responsibly.
Today, Junkit is made up of CVU graduates and local students. By employing friends, we’re empowering the younger generation while giving back to the community that continues to support us!

Our Approach
We’re a team of local CVU graduates focused on doing good work and reusing what we can from what we remove, saving items that can be repurposed, resold, or donated to our local charities. Anything that’s left is properly recycled or disposed of through our transfer facilities.
We take pride in our work—respecting your property, cleaning up the area afterward, and getting to know you and the awesome community that continues to support us. We’re truly grateful for the relationships we’ve built with you all!
